Summary

Job Title: Senior Data Analyst Location: Remote Duration: 06 months contract
Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support two data migration projects. This person will sit between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team, using SQL to analyze source data, identify quality issues, communicate findings in business-friendly terms, and translate client decisions into actionable requirements for developers and data architects.
Responsibilities:
  • Write and execute SQL queries in SQL Server or Snowflake to assess source data completeness, uniqueness, and integrity.
  • Identify missing mandatory fields, duplicate records, anomalies, mapping gaps, and root causes.
  • Quantify affected records and produce validation reports and categorized remediation lists.
  • Present findings clearly to business stakeholders, explain their impact, and facilitate walkthroughs to confirm understanding and next steps.
  • Track client remediation activities against agreed deadlines.
  • Communicate client decisions, mapping clarifications, and rule changes to developers for implementation.
  • Escalate data structure, lineage, and business-rule issues to the Data Architect.
  • Revalidate data after each reload to confirm that remediation efforts were successful.
  • Support source metadata analysis, validate required columns and data types, and prepare error reports ahead of migration manifest generation.
  • Work with business stakeholders on data profiling and mapping, flagging records with missing mandatory fields for remediation within agreed timelines.
Must Have Requirements
  • Strong SQL skills, including querying source databases and performing data profiling.
  • Experience identifying data quality issues, missing mandatory fields, duplicates, anomalies, and mapping gaps.
  • Ability to quantify affected records and prepare validation reports and remediation lists.
  • Strong communication skills, including explaining technical findings to business stakeholders and translating decisions into actionable requirements for developers and data architects.
  • Experience with Informatica Cloud (IDMC), Snowflake Openflow, and UKG ECM.
  • Ability to work during Eastern Time hours
Preferences
  • Experience with Workday data migration, including Workday EDM and XML manifest generation.
  • Exposure to SAP and OpenText source data.
  • Experience with large-scale document migration and enterprise data platforms.

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $51.00-55.00 per hour.
