Position : SAP Functional Delivery Manager (Contract)

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Delivery Manager to lead high-level portfolio strategies and oversee the execution of complex ERP initiatives. In this role, you will champion business value, ensuring our technology investments align with strategic enterprise goals.

Job Description :

• Strategic Alignment: Clearly define and communicate business value, strategic goals, and portfolio strategy to stakeholders. Act as a servant leader to ensure adherence to the Enterprise Operating Model.
• Delivery Management: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Portfolio and Program Epics, ensuring all work meets the Definition of Done (DoD) prior to acceptance. Participate in value decomposition and release planning.
• Operational Visibility: Provide full transparency into the investment portfolio, empowering leadership to make data-driven decisions regarding prioritization, risks, and dependencies.
• Resource Planning: Lead demand forecasting and complexity analysis to determine PMO capacity requirements; collaborate with leadership to present a unified view of resource needs.
• Vendor Governance: Manage relationships with third-party vendors to enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs), schedule upcoming upgrades/patches, and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Deployment Support: Actively support deployment activities and release cycles as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related discipline.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Delivery or Portfolio Management, including 8+ years managing multi-tiered program budgets.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools, specifically Jira, Kanban, and Scrumban. Strong command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management software.
• ERP Expertise: Solid understanding of the ERP implementation lifecycle (planning, blueprinting, go-live, hypercare) with specific knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional written/verbal communication and organizational skills. A strong track record of managing concurrent initiatives through indirect leadership.
• Customer Focus: A dedication to high-quality customer care and building lasting business relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Background in Wholesale Pharmaceutical Distribution or Life Sciences.
• Completion of at least one full-cycle End-to-End ERP implementation.
• Prior experience with a Big Four consulting firm.
