About the Role:
We are hiring an Android Developer to join our client s mobile engineering team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative financial technology organizations in the U.S. You ll help drive high-impact mobile solutions, feature enhancements, and automation efforts for enterprise-scale mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on Android development using Kotlin and Java within an Agile team.
- Participate in the full mobile app lifecycle: concept, design, build, test, deploy, and release.
- Develop automated test scripts using Appium to validate mobile functionality.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to build prototypes, estimate features, and implement new ideas.
- Maintain application code quality, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
- Stay current with mobile framework updates, best practices, and platform features.
- Write and maintain documentation for features, releases, and technical processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
What We re Looking For:
- 4 7 years of experience as an Android Developer or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Core Java.
- Experience in mobile test automation using tools such as Appium.
- Working knowledge of Objective-C, Swift, SwiftUI, and Xcode.
- Understanding of C-based libraries and their use in mobile applications.
- Experience maintaining and automating mobile app codebases.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with UNIX or a financial domain is a plus.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $60 $62 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
