Role: Flutter Design Engineer
Rate: $65/hour
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Hybrid (1-2 days onsite)

Overview

Role sits between Engineering and Design.
Looking for engineers who have worked closely with designers/UX/UI teams before.
This is a Flutter focused UI engineering role. Team is moving toward cross platform Flutter development for mobile apps.

What You’ll Do

Build mobile prototypes in Flutter (some web work as well).
Work from Figma specs. Designs come from dedicated designers; no original design work required.
Collaborate closely with designers, iterate quickly, solve edge cases, and help bring interactions/animations to life.
Participate in morning Scrum, work through Jira tickets, and handle daily heads down feature development.
Regular demos and sharing sessions; need someone comfortable presenting work to stakeholders/senior leadership.
Multiweek builds that resemble production-level apps.
Support both entertainment and connectivity verticals, using the same frameworks as product teams.
Additional details will be shared in a separate Word document.

Requirements

Must have past experience working with designers and iterating directly with UX/UI.
Minimum 5 years mobile or cross platform development.
Minimum 3 years hands-on Flutter experience.
Strong interest in animations, microinteractions, and bringing product UI to life.
Professional, well spoken, and comfortable with presenting to stakeholders.
