Key Responsibilities- Designs and implements electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery to minimize downtime.
- Develops and maintains electrical schematics, documentation, and safety procedures.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams on new product introduction and process improvements.
- Selects, specifies, and calibrates electrical components and instrumentation.
- Ensures compliance with electrical safety codes and industry standards.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design and panel layouts.
- Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
- Experience with motor control, VFDs, and power distribution systems.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards and codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA 79).
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with robotics or automated systems.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
- PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
