Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior EDI / B2B Integration Architect with strong expertise in IBM Sterling Integrator, Axway B2Bi, EDI trading partner management, and ANSI X12.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting EDI integrations in complex enterprise environments. Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, supply chain, or distribution environments is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead EDI/B2B integration initiatives and provide technical direction for enterprise trading-partner integrations.
- Manage end-to-end EDI trading partner onboarding, configuration, testing, and production support.
- Design and support EDI integrations using IBM Sterling Integrator and Axway B2Bi.
- Configure and troubleshoot communication protocols including AS2 and SFTP.
- Support ANSI X12 transactions including 850, 855, 856, 810, and 832.
- Configure partner agreements, communication channels, interfaces, directories, and related integration objects.
- Troubleshoot EDI transaction failures and coordinate resolution across business and technical teams.
- Work with SAP and other enterprise applications to troubleshoot order and invoice-related integration issues.
- Lead distributed/onshore-offshore support teams and ensure effective communication across time zones.
- Coordinate multiple integration requirements, production issues, partner onboarding activities, and project deliverables.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, vendors, trading partners, and technical teams.
Pharmaceutical / Serialization Experience
- Experience supporting TraceLink pharmaceutical supply-chain and serialization solutions is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of DSCSA, EU FMD, and global serialization compliance.
- Experience onboarding and integrating CMOs, 3PLs, wholesalers, distributors, and other trading partners.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical supply-chain data exchange and serialization processes.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of hands-on EDI / B2B integration experience.
- Strong experience with IBM Sterling Integrator (SI).
- Strong experience with Axway B2Bi / Axway B2B.
- Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 standards.
- Experience with 850, 855, 856, 810, and 832 transactions.
- Hands-on experience with AS2 and SFTP.
- Strong trading partner management and onboarding experience.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience leading distributed technical/support teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- TraceLink experience.
- DSCSA / EU FMD / Serialization experience.
- Pharmaceutical, healthcare, supply-chain, distribution, or logistics domain experience.
- SAP / IDoc / Order / Invoice troubleshooting experience.
- Experience working with CMOs, 3PLs, wholesalers, distributors, and large enterprise trading networks.
Certification: Not mandatory; relevant certifications are a plus.
