Job Description – ServiceNow (SNOW) Developer
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow (SNOW) Developer to design, develop, configure, and support ServiceNow applications in an enterprise ITSM environment. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow platform development, integrations, and automation, with a focus on stability, scalability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions
Configure and support core ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and CMDB
Develop and maintain Service Catalog items, workflows, Flow Designer flows, and approvals
Build and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and data imports
Customize forms, lists, views, dashboards, and reports as per business requirements
Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, platform standards, and upgrade compatibility
Participate in production issue resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning
Support platform upgrades, patching, and testing activities
Collaborate with functional consultants, platform admins, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Maintain technical documentation and support audit and compliance needs.
Participate in the full ServiceNow implementation lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Design and configure ServiceNow modules such as ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change Management), ITOM, HRSD, and others based on business needs.
Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and other relevant technologies.
Implement workflows, business rules, and automation to streamline processes and improve user experience.
Work closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and other ServiceNow professionals to align solutions with organizational goals.
Required Skills & Experience
3–7 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting framework
Experience with ITSM implementations in enterprise environments
Working knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, and integrations
Experience with ServiceNow update sets, scoped applications, and deployment best practices
Strong understanding of ITIL processes
Experience working in production support and regulated environments
Good to Have
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS – ITSM)
Experience with SIAM, custom apps, or performance analytics
Exposure to Retail / large-scale enterprise accounts
Behavioral & Delivery Expectations
Strong ownership and execution discipline
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Clear communication with stakeholders and customer teams
Focus on platform stability, security, and compliance
