Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

Bachelor s or Associate s degree in biochemistry, biological science, genetics, or a related field.
Familiarity with routine molecular biology procedures.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow company safety policies and procedures.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to complete tasks promptly and manage daily workload efficiently.

Experience:

Familiarity with vector construction.
Familiarity with E. coli transformation.
Familiarity with DNA extraction, including plasmid and genomic DNA.
Familiarity with PCR.
Experience supporting laboratory operations or scientific research is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Assist team members in conducting experiments and technical operations.
Support general laboratory operations and routine laboratory tasks.
Perform laboratory or information handling tasks in support of scientific research.
Understand and follow laboratory protocols.
Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Help formulate work plans and manage daily workload effectively.
Support research and development activities related to plant genome editing technologies.

Should Have:

Interest or experience in plant genome editing technologies.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt in a research-focused laboratory environment.
Detail-oriented mindset with strong task ownership.

Skills:

Molecular biology techniques.
Vector construction.
E. coli transformation.
DNA extraction (plasmid and genomic).
PCR.
Laboratory operations support.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Communication and organizational skills.
