Job Title: Disaster Recovery (DR) Coordinator
Location: Irvine, CA / San Antonio, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Role Summary:
The Disaster Recovery Coordinator will work with application teams to review, validate, and test disaster recovery (DR) plans to ensure systems can be restored during outages or disasters. The role includes conducting QA reviews of DR documentation, verifying DR test evidence, coordinating DR exercises, and ensuring compliance with DR standards. The candidate will also follow up with stakeholders to complete DR activities, track progress using DR tools (such as Veoci), and support continuous improvement of DR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and validate DR plans, documentation, and test evidence.
Identify gaps, missing information, or inconsistencies in DR plans.
Coordinate with application teams and DR operations teams to complete DR activities.
Support DR testing, tabletop exercises (TTX), and disaster recovery drills.
Track DR activities and deadlines using DR tracking tools (e.g., Veoci).
Conduct training sessions and workshops on DR concepts and best practices.
Provide reports and updates on DR readiness and compliance.

Required Skills:

Experience with Disaster Recovery planning, testing, and documentation review.
Strong analytical, documentation review, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with DR tools, reporting, and tracking activities.
Good Excel and reporting skills.

Preferred:

Experience with Veoci DR tracking tool.
Splunk Admin Certification is a plus.
