Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Manager

Location: Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Manager on behalf of our client in Brooklyn, NY. This role is critical to supporting a large-scale data center migration to a hybrid cloud and disaster recovery environment.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in vulnerability management, incident response, and security operations, ensuring the secure transition of infrastructure across legacy and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vulnerability management during the data center migration

  • Analyze, prioritize, and track security vulnerabilities based on risk and business impact

  • Lead and coordinate remediation efforts across on-premise, cloud, and DR environments

  • Perform security triage and incident response, identifying threats and mitigating risks

  • Investigate security incidents using SIEM and EDR tools

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of security issues

  • Develop and implement remediation workflows and processes

  • Maintain thorough documentation for audits, reporting, and knowledge sharing

  • Ensure proactive communication on security risks, incidents, and remediation status

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, or incident response

  • Strong expertise with:

    • Rapid7 InsightVM

    • CrowdStrike Falcon

    • Trellix EDR & ePO

    • Splunk Enterprise / Splunk ES

  • Experience with IT Service Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow)

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting

  • Solid understanding of:

    • Windows, Linux, and Unix systems

    • Networking fundamentals and security principles

    • Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware)

    • Enterprise platforms such as Oracle and IBM

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting data center migrations or cloud transformation initiatives

  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud and disaster recovery environments

  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional, fast-paced environments
