Job Title: Senior Vulnerability Management Analyst

Location: Brooklyn (Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Vulnerability Management Analyst on behalf of our client in Brooklyn, NY. This role is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities across enterprise systems, particularly within a hybrid infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting infrastructure migration efforts by ensuring continuous monitoring, risk assessment, and remediation of security threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform vulnerability scanning and risk assessments across enterprise environments

  • Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, exploitability, and business impact

  • Execute and validate scans for systems involved in infrastructure migration

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for vulnerability tracking

  • Automate reporting and workflows using scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell)

  • Conduct pre- and post-migration security assessments

  • Maintain inventory of IT assets including servers, applications, and network devices

  • Map system dependencies to ensure secure and seamless migration processes

  • Implement and support data protection and security controls

  • Document findings and support audit and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Rapid7 InsightVM)

  • Strong experience in vulnerability analysis, prioritization, and remediation

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using Excel (e.g., pivot tables)

  • Experience with IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow

  • Solid understanding of:

    • Windows, Unix, and Linux systems

    • Networking fundamentals

    • Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware)

    • Enterprise platforms (e.g., Oracle, IBM systems)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting data center or infrastructure migration projects

  • Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell preferred)

  • Familiarity with compliance, audit processes, and risk documentation
