Sr. SAP S/4 OTC Consultants

Overview

We are hiring multiple SAP S/4 OTC professionals with deep expertise in SD Billing, Invoicing, and Contract Management to support a large-scale, multi-year SAP S/4HANA transformation within a complex Aerospace & Defense (A&D) environment.

This program represents a major release wave in an ongoing migration from SAP ECC and legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA, spanning:

• Finance (FIN)
• Order-to-Cash (OTC)
• Manufacturing (MFG)
• Supply Chain (SCM)

The environment includes highly complex Engineer-to-Order (ETO) business models supporting long-cycle manufacturing (aircraft systems, defense platforms, MRO).

We are specifically seeking candidates with ECC → S/4 transformation experience in OTC, with strong focus on billing, invoicing, and contract-driven revenue processes.

Open Positions (Multiple Hires)

This is a multi-role hiring initiative, not a single opening. We are building a team across levels, including:

• SAP S/4 OTC Leads (Program / Workstream Level)
• SAP S/4 OTC Functional Leads (Billing & Invoicing)
• SAP S/4 OTC Specialists (Contracts & Revenue Integration)

All roles contribute to end-to-end OTC transformation delivery, with varying levels of ownership across design, build, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy SAP S/4 OTC solutions with focus on:
  • SD Billing & Invoicing
  • Contract-based billing models (milestone, T&M, cost-plus, fixed-price)
  • Integration with Accounts Receivable and Revenue Recognition
• Support ECC to S/4HANA conversion activities, including:
  • Functional redesign and simplification
  • Data migration validation and reconciliation
  • Adoption of S/4 data models and capabilities
• Lead or support fit-to-standard workshops and solution design sessions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with:
  • Finance (FI/CO, AR)
  • Supply Chain and Logistics
  • Program / Project Systems
• Participate in:
  • Integration testing, UAT, and regression cycles
  • Defect management and resolution
• Support cutover planning and execution, including:
  • Billing readiness and validation
  • Open transaction management
  • Hypercare support post go-live
• Contribute to continuous improvement and sustainment releases

Methodology & Tools Expectations

• Experience delivering SAP S/4 programs using SAP Activate or similar structured delivery frameworks
• Familiarity with:
  • Agile delivery models (Scrum, SAFe) and backlog-driven execution
  • Fit-to-standard workshops and iterative release strategies
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following toolsets:
  • Agile/work management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
  • SAP lifecycle management tools such as SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM
• Understanding of how delivery tools support:
  • Requirements traceability
  • Test management (SIT/UAT/regression)
  • Defect tracking and resolution
  • Release and cutover readiness
• Experience contributing to:
  • Test cycles for complex OTC scenarios (especially billing/invoicing)
  • Data migration validation and reconciliation
  • Cutover planning artifacts (runbooks, task tracking, readiness checkpoints)

Required Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of SAP experience (level dependent on role)
• Strong expertise in SAP OTC / SD, with emphasis on:
  • Billing and invoicing processes
  • Pricing and condition techniques
  • Contract-based billing scenarios
• Proven experience in ECC to S/4HANA transformation projects
• Understanding of integration between SD and Finance (AR, revenue recognition)
• Experience working in complex, multi-release program environments
• Strong communication skills across business and technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Aerospace & Defense or similarly regulated industries
• Familiarity with:
  • Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environments
  • Long-cycle manufacturing and service/MRO models
• Exposure to:
  • Advanced billing scenarios (intercompany, milestone, resource-related billing)
  • Output management (e.g., BRF+)
• Direct experience with SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM (preferred, not required)

Work Environment & Constraints

• Remote (U.S.-based only.  May require occasional travel)
• U.S. Citizenship required (ITAR/data sensitivity compliance)
• Ability to collaborate across distributed teams and multiple time zones

Engagement Details

• Initial contract: 6+ months
• Strong likelihood of extension aligned to 2+ year S/4 transformation roadmap
• Immediate involvement in new design/build release, alongside ongoing deployments and sustainment
