Job Summary:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of designing sophisticated building systems for landmark projects in the higher education, healthcare, and government sectors. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and delivery of electrical building systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, telecommunications, security, and associated controls
    Perform engineering analyses and develop electrical design calculations to support innovative, code-compliant solutions
  • Prepare and oversee the development of detailed construction documents and BIM models using Revit
  • Manage project execution from concept through construction, including QA/QC reviews, multidisciplinary coordination, and collaboration with owners, architects, and other stakeholders
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence across the team
  • Support business development efforts by cultivating client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and contributing to proposal and project pursuit activities

Qualifications and Experience:
  • You have a minimum of 8 years design experience as registered engineer
  • You have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
  • You possess a Professional Engineer license, PE
  • You have experience with complex institutional projects.
  • You are familiar with codes, standards and design guidelines
  • Excellent work ethic and attitude
  • Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • You have LEED experience; certification is a plus

Location: Raleigh, NC
Travel: To Project Sites
