Wi-Fi enables wireless, high-speed, and low-latency connectivity required for smooth AR/VR experiences, allowing headsets to communicate with computers, cloud servers, and other devices in real time. You'll follow modern Wi-Fi standards to improve bandwidth & reduce lag, enabling seamless and immersive AR/VR applications.

As a Wi-Fi team member, you'll be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing Wi-Fi networking subsystem software across Apple products including iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV. You will also be working across software stacks (Frameworks and API, UI, OS services, and drivers) to maintain and productize features collaboratively with the hardware and software teams within all of Apple. You will be expected to own, drive and execute the full software development cycle - from the ideation, design, implementation, to testing and measuring the success of the feature you develop. We want you to make intelligent compromises between several contradictory factors such as ease of use, performance and efficiency.

You have 5+ years experience developing software using C/C++, or Objective-C/Swift\nYou have experience with UNIX systems, and a deep understanding of operating system fundamentals\nYou have excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, programming and debugging skills\nYou have exposure to networking protocols (TCP/IP, routing, etc.), AI/ML tools\nEnglish language proficiency

You thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while driving multiple projects across teams\nYou are laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers\nYou possess excellent collaboration skills\nYou are obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to tackle everyday problems in innovative ways\nYou have experience developing software using embedded SDKs, frameworks and/or BSP's\nYou have experience with multi-layer SW architecture on embedded platforms\nYou have experience on Wireless connectivity SW development\nYou have experience with C/C++ or Python\nYou have demonstrated experience with machine learning frameworks and applying ML techniques to real-world problems
