Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Hogan RPM (Reporting & Profitability Manager) Mainframe Engineer to support our client’s development initiatives. This is a staff augmentation role where the consultant will work closely with client teams and follow day-to-day direction from client stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Hogan RPM along with strong mainframe development experience to support critical reporting and profitability functions.

Key Responsibilities
Provide hands-on development support for the Hogan RPM platform (Reporting & Profitability Manager)
Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including technical design, coding, unit testing, advanced testing support, and production migration
Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and related technologies
Support reporting, profitability analysis, and financial data processing within the Hogan ecosystem
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development, testing, and production environments
Ensure stability and performance of batch processes and reporting workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements aligned with business and regulatory requirements
Support production releases and post-production activities

Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory: Proven, hands-on experience with Hogan RPM
10+ years of experience in Hogan/Mainframe development environments
Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and mainframe development
Solid understanding of software design principles, SDLC, and development methodologies
Experience working on reporting and profitability systems within banking environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to Have
Experience with other Hogan modules, especially Hogan IDS and Hogan CIS
Broader exposure to core banking systems and financial data processing
Experience supporting regulatory or financial reporting systems
