Summary

We are seeking a mid-level Business Analyst to support critical Data & BI initiatives within an Azure environment. In this role, you''ll collaborate closely with both local business stakeholders and offshore teams to gather and document requirements, prioritize projects, and manage a dynamic backlog. Your impact will be significant as you drive efficiency and clarity within the team, ensuring that vital data projects are prioritized and executed effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather and document business and data requirements by engaging with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the process.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) that will guide the analysis of data initiatives and report on project success to stakeholders.
Maintain and prioritize a backlog of projects using Azure DevOps, ensuring timely completion of tasks according to business needs.
Coordinate closely with offshore teams to facilitate communication and ensure the successful delivery of data projects, acting as the liaison between teams.

Requirements:

3-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, demonstrating a strong understanding of business and data requirements.
Proven skills in gathering requirements, creating user stories, and defining acceptance criteria within Agile methodologies.
Experience managing diverse project scopes, from short-term tasks to long-term initiatives, while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps for project and backlog management, ensuring effective task prioritization.

Employment Type: Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
Location: Houston, Texas 77002
