The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is seeking a visionary technology professional to step into a pivotal, long-term consulting engagement as a Senior Software Engineer. In this high-impact role, you will serve as a technical linchpin, orchestrating the evolution of robust web applications and driving cloud-centric modernizations.

Operating within a hybrid framework in the Wilmington, DE area, you will wield substantial influence over architectural decisions, engineering standards, and team execution, directly steering the digital transformation initiatives of a premier enterprise organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect and engineer resilient full-stack web applications by leveraging the combined power of .NET Core, SQL Server, and Angular frameworks.

  • Champion cloud-native innovation across Azure environments, spearheading advanced data modeling via Entity Framework Core and embedding automated DevOps workflows.

  • Mentor and elevate junior and mid-level engineering talent, orchestrating daily development sprints and evaluating team output to maximize project velocity.

  • Drive uncompromising software quality by instilling SOLID design principles and championing rigorous test-driven development (TDD) methodologies to ensure elastic scalability.

  • Synthesize cross-functional efforts across development, IT operations, and business stakeholders, unifying teams from initial technical scope validation through successful user acceptance testing.

  • Formulate comprehensive technical roadmaps, generating highly accurate resource assessments, time estimates, and execution milestones for varied project scopes.

  • Deconstruct intricate software ecosystems and cross-platform dependencies to deliver high-level analytical consulting on systemic, enterprise-wide technology adoptions.

  • Author pristine, meticulous technical specifications, comprehensive test strategies, and architectural documentation to guarantee long-term system maintainability and rapid debugging.

What You Bring

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of dedicated application development and systems analysis expertise (or a combination of 7+ years of advanced technical education and professional hands-on engineering).

  • Technical Mastery: Advanced, provable proficiency in full-stack architecture utilizing .NET Core, relational databases (SQL Server), and modern front-end frameworks (Angular).

  • Cloud & Data Prowess: Deep operational experience within Azure ecosystems, object-relational mapping via Entity Framework Core, and modern CI/CD deployment pipelines.

  • Engineering Rigor: A sophisticated grasp of performance tuning, object-oriented design patterns (SOLID), and automated testing strategies.

  • Leadership Capability: A track record of guiding development initiatives, steering technical milestones, and successfully balancing concurrent enterprise priorities.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Elite interpersonal and presentation skills, with a proven knack for translating complex technical paradigms to diverse business and executive stakeholders.
