The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is seeking a visionary Enterprise Architect to spearhead the technical evolution of a vital financial services domain. In this high-impact, fully remote contract position, you will serve as the chief blueprint designer, translating long-term business ambitions into scalable, cutting-edge technology strategies.

Operating at the intersection of business intent and technological execution, you will possess the autonomy to influence modernization efforts, optimize delivery efficiency, and shape the overarching technical landscape for an elite institutional banking platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect comprehensive multi-year technical roadmaps, strategic blueprints, and future-state models that perfectly harmonize commercial goals with modern engineering paradigms.

  • Champion collaborative initiatives with senior executives and engineering squads to audit, map, and publicize the current state of ecosystem health across cloud infrastructure, security protocols, data layers, and integration frameworks.

  • Drive high-level technical consultation and visionary leadership for domain executives, equipping decision-makers with the strategic insights needed to accelerate engineering throughput.

  • Synthesize cutting-edge industry trends and emerging technological breakthroughs into pragmatic design principles, repeatable architectural patterns, and reusable corporate capabilities.

  • Steer the formal technology governance ecosystem by synthesizing data-backed proposals and presenting sophisticated technical solutions to executive steering committees and engineering peer groups.

  • Resolve intricate, systemic domain vulnerabilities by introducing innovative platforms, robust software products, or targeted infrastructure modernizations built for scale.

  • Cultivate deep, trust-based partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders, utilizing superior presentation skills to articulate complex engineering concepts to non-technical business leaders.

  • Author exhaustive reference models, standardization playbooks, and architectural documentation that empower Agile product teams to build compliant, uniform, and resilient software.

What You Bring

  • Expertise spanning over 7 years in sophisticated application development, systems integration, and full-lifecycle enterprise architecture delivery—including the successful authorship of organizational roadmaps and capability assessments.

  • Mastery of institutional financial ecosystems, possessing deep domain familiarity with sectors such as commercial lending, asset management, global payments, capital markets, or structured finance.

  • Fluency in navigating stringent financial sector regulatory environments, compliance mandates, and risk management guidelines.

  • Background rooted heavily in hands-on software engineering, boasting a sophisticated command of cloud-native ecosystems, microservices topologies, API design, and modern integration patterns.

  • Command of industry-standard architectural methodologies (such as TOGAF or equivalent structures) alongside hands-on experience utilizing enterprise modeling platforms within complex banking environments.

  • Influence driven by exceptional consultative talents, enabling you to guide executive-level decision-making, manage complex stakeholder dynamics, and inspire cross-functional teams without hierarchical authority.
