Summary

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced QA Test Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end testing activities across modern technology platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on testing expertise, and experience managing testing teams in both Agile and Waterfall environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance, accessibility, interface, security, and data conversion testing
Manage, execute, monitor, and report on all testing activities across applications
Review, update, and develop test strategies, test suites, and test cases
Document and report test results, data conversion and integration issues, and track defects (PIRs) to resolution
Coordinate testing schedules, resources, and stakeholder meetings
Provide training, guidance, and mentoring to QA team members
Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed throughout the testing lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong experience with testing tools such as Jira, TestSavvy, JUnit, Selenium, Microfocus UFT, and SQL
Hands-on experience with performance testing and monitoring tools like JMeter and JProfiler
Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a focus on QA/testing processes
Experience working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Experience with Salesforce testing
Proven leadership experience as a Test Lead, QA Manager, or Project Manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with a Texas state agency (as an employee or contractor) in a QA/Test Manager role
Strong communication, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
