About the Role:

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain 2D CAD drawings and 3D models/assemblies
• Develop facility, equipment, utility, process, and installation layouts
• Support mechanical, electrical, piping, HVAC, pneumatic, hydraulic, and production equipment projects
• Create fabrication, assembly, fixture, jig, and manufacturing-aid drawings
• Prepare contractor-ready packages for bidding, procurement, fabrication, and construction
• Develop BOMs, parts lists, fabrication drawings, and installation documentation
• Incorporate engineering markups, field measurements, redlines, and as-built updates
• Perform field walkdowns and support contractor/vendor coordination
• Maintain drawing revisions, registers, document control, and release workflows
• Identify constructability, access, safety, maintainability, and production-flow concerns

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of CAD experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, facilities, or equipment installation
• Associate degree, CAD/technical certification, or equivalent experience
• Advanced AutoCAD skills
• Working knowledge of Revit, Inventor, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Autodesk Forma
• Experience creating manufacturing- and construction-ready drawing packages
• Strong ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, piping, utility, facility, and vendor drawings
• Knowledge of GD&T / ASME Y14.5
• Experience with 3D assemblies, fabrication drawings, BOMs, and parts lists
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing plant environment and supporting field activities
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and ownership

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, manufacturing, construction management, or related field
• Autodesk certification, GD&T training, or OSHA 10
• Experience with Autodesk Vault, Plant 3D, Civil 3D, SolidWorks, CATIA, MicroStation, or AutoCAD Electrical
• Battery, automotive, clean/dry room, or high-volume manufacturing experience
• New plant startup, brownfield installation, equipment relocation, or production ramp-up experience
• Facility utilities experience: HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, exhaust, dust collection, vacuum, or electrical distribution
• CAD standards, automation, BOM workflows, or mentoring experience
