Join us!THE ROLEThe IT Security Specialist will play a key role in promoting cybersecurity awareness and supporting the organization's security program. This entry-level position focuses on delivering security training, conducting phishing simulations, and managing program metrics to ensure continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about cybersecurity education and program management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Plan, coordinate, and execute phishing simulations to assess and improve user awareness.
- Organize and deliver secure development training exercises for technical teams.
- Create and distribute security awareness bulletins and enterprise communications.
- Track cybersecurity program effectiveness through metrics and KPIs.
- Communicate program performance and insights to key stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT-related roles (internships or academic projects acceptable).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES- Ability to create engaging security awareness content and deliver training sessions.
- Experience with phishing simulation platforms and security awareness tools (preferred but not required).
- Basic understanding of secure development practices and common vulnerabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.
- Strong analytical skills for tracking and reporting program metrics.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
