Contract Duration: 3 Months with extensions or conversion Required Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience,
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in data management, data quality, defect/issue remediation, and/or regulatory reporting support.
  • Hands-on experience resolving data defects using defect/issue management tools (e.g., EDQDM, JIRA, or similar).
  • Working knowledge of financial/regulatory reporting concepts and artifacts (e.g., FR Y-14, Call Report, 10-K, 10-Q) and how upstream data issues impact reporting.
  • Understanding of data flows and lineage across systems (e.g., SOO to SOR to ADS/Aggregators to Reporting).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple leads/teams and drive timely outcomes.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify who to engage when the path forward is unclear.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Prior experience with client defect tools and processes.
  • Experience producing regulatory and/or risk reporting, including reviewing and addressing exceptions in reconciliation/variance reports.
  • Experience determining and booking correcting adjustments (e.g., appropriate GL or SOR adjustments) in support of remediation.
  • Understanding of Finance line-of-business landscape (e.g., Controllers vs. Treasury) and common data/provider operating models.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Covers jobs that drive oversight, governance, and management of critical data to support business needs, initiatives, and strategies.
  • Consult with data product, data integrity, technology, and business partners to set standards, policies and practices for data flow, data framework, data access, documentation, quality and remediation.
  • Consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Data Management
  • Consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking
  • Provide expertise to client senior leadership on innovative Data Management business solutions
  • Strategically engage with client personnel.
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of data defects end-to-end, including clarifying requirements, identifying blockers, and ensuring defects progress through the lifecycle.
  • Drive stakeholders to meet remediation and documentation requirements in a timely manner; coordinate across data providers and downstream consumers as needed.
  • Provide material support and leadership for FR Y-14 defect coverage, including forum coverage, triage, escalation, and coordination across leads/stakeholders.
  • Support ad-hoc defect-related work such as SLA monitoring, stakeholder communications, status reporting, and escalation management.
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving to determine the right sources of information and the right partners to engage to resolve issues.
