Top Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working in Agile delivery environments
  • 4+ years of hands-on Scrum Master experience
  • Prior experience in Project Management, Program Management, or Delivery Management
  • Experience supporting technology and data-driven teams in complex enterprise environments
  • Strong facilitation, risk management, and stakeholder management skills
  • Plusses
    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification
    • PMP or other Project Management certifications
    • Experience working in scaled Agile frameworks
    • Experience supporting regulatory or highly governed environments
    • Enterprise Agile transformation experience
    Job Summary

    In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Scrum and Agile delivery. The Scrum Master will provide servant leadership to one or more Agile teams while leveraging strong project management discipline to drive delivery predictability, remove impediments, manage dependencies, and improve Agile maturity.

    This role requires an experienced Agile practitioner who can balance coaching and facilitation responsibilities with delivery oversight, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and enterprise governance requirements.
    Day-to-Day Responsibilities
    Scrum & Agile Leadership
    • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams
    • Facilitate:
      • Sprint Planning
      • Daily Standups
      • Backlog Refinement
      • Sprint Reviews
      • Sprint Retrospectives
    • Coach teams on Agile values, Scrum principles, and servant leadership
    • Ensure adherence to Definition of Done (DoD) and Agile best practices
    • Remove obstacles and protect teams from external disruptions
    Project & Delivery Management
    • Apply project management discipline to Agile delivery planning
    • Manage scope, timelines, dependencies, and milestones
    • Track and mitigate risks and issues
    • Support release planning and execution activities
    • Provide delivery status reporting and progress updates to leadership
    Product Owner & Stakeholder Partnership
    • Partner with Product Owners to maintain backlog readiness and prioritization
    • Help translate business objectives into actionable stories and requirements
    • Facilitate communication across technology, business, and delivery teams
    • Escalate and manage delivery risks and blockers as needed
    Metrics, Coaching & Continuous Improvement
    • Utilize Agile metrics such as:
      • Velocity
      • Throughput
      • Flow
      • Predictability
    • Assess team maturity and identify improvement opportunities
    • Facilitate retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives
    • Promote collaboration, accountability, and knowledge sharing across teams
    Governance & Enterprise Alignment
    • Coordinate cross-team dependencies in large-scale delivery environments
    • Support enterprise governance, compliance, and reporting requirements
    • Ensure Agile artifacts and reporting remain accurate within enterprise tools
    • Align delivery activities with organizational standards and controls
