OverviewWe are seeking a reliable, customer-focused
Field Service Technician to support desktop and endpoint refresh projects in the Milwaukee area. This is an on-site role requiring hands-on experience with PC imaging, device configuration, and end-user support in professional environments. Candidates must be self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently at changing project locations. An A+ is preferred.
A
valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required, as project locations may vary week to week.
Key Responsibilities- Perform laptop and desktop refreshes, including imaging, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Replace Windows PCs with terminals and ensure proper device setup and functionality
- Provide on-site technical support to end users, maintaining professionalism and minimizing workflow disruption
- Accurately document service activities, inventory, and equipment assignments
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to resolve technical issues efficiently
- Follow organizational IT standards, security policies, and procedures
Qualifications- Experience in a field services, desktop support, or technical support role
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with professional end users
- Proven ability to work independently, take direction, and manage changing priorities
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational and documentation skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, rotating project environments
Education & Certifications- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CompTIA A+ certification strongly preferred
- Additional certifications (Network+, similar) are a plus
Technical Skills- Desktop & endpoint support
- PC imaging and device configuration
- Hardware installation and troubleshooting
- Windows OS support
- Basic networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting
- Security awareness and adherence to best practices
Work Environment & Requirements- Fully on-site at varying client sites.
- Must be able to lift and move computer equipment as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required
- Project locations may shift based on deployment needs

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
