Job Title: Ruby on Rails Developer

Location: RTP, NC(Hybrid)

Position Type: Contract

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience and a passion for clean, efficient code.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails
Design RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
Collaborate with front-end developers and product teams
Optimize application performance and scalability
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

Required Skills:

3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
Strong knowledge of Ruby, MVC architecture, and REST APIs
Experience with databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD
Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Preferred:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure)
Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes
Exposure to microservices architecture
