Title: IT Project Manager - Cloud & Collaboration (Engineering/Industrial Environment)
Duration: Contract (9-12 months) with potential for extension or conversion

Summary
We are seeking an IT Project Manager to lead enterprise technology initiatives within a global engineering and industrial environment. This role focuses on Microsoft 365 and SharePoint migrations, along with broader infrastructure and security initiatives across a multi-site organization.
The position requires a strong balance of technical understanding and project leadership, with an emphasis on stakeholder communication, vendor coordination, and successful delivery of complex IT initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint migration initiatives
- Manage full project lifecycle including scope, timelines, documentation, and deliverables
- Partner with business stakeholders to align technical solutions with operational needs
- Direct and collaborate with third-party providers responsible for implementation and support
- Oversee tenant migration from a regulated cloud environment into a broader enterprise platform
- Coordinate SharePoint migration efforts, including structure, data movement, and tooling considerations
- Drive rollout of security initiatives such as MFA and conditional access policies
- Support endpoint lifecycle efforts, including device refresh and imaging projects
- Assist with compliance-related IT initiatives within an industrial/engineering setting
- Proactively identify risks and ensure timely resolution
- Provide regular status updates to leadership and cross-functional teams
Skills
- Strong experience managing Microsoft 365 and SharePoint migrations
- Knowledge of cloud environments, networking, and enterprise deployments
- Familiarity with security frameworks including MFA and conditional access
- Experience working with third-party vendors or managed service providers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a global environment
- Strong organizational and documentation capabilities
- Industry background in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial sectors is a plus
Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of IT project management experience
- Proven success delivering cloud or infrastructure transformation projects
- Experience in multi-site or global organizations preferred
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with occasional onsite collaboration
- PMP or similar certification is a plus
