Pay Range: $50-55/hr. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and process large volumes of multi-format engineering data (telemetry, test logs, simulation results, and maintenance data).
- Build interactive dashboards and automated reports (Power BI, Tableau) to track engineering KPIs, test progress, and operational reliability.
- Develop automated scripts (Python, R, SQL) for data ingestion pipelines, anomaly detection, and predictive modeling.
- Partner with Stress, Systems, and Flight Test engineering teams to translate complex engineering problems into scalable analytical solutions.
- Present statistical findings and trend analyses to program managers and chief engineers.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related technical field.
- Experience: 3+ years of data analytics experience, preferably within aerospace, industrial manufacturing, or defense environments.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational/non-relational databases.
- Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) or R for statistical data processing.
- Hands-on expertise with visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience working with engineering data structures (time-series data, MATLAB outputs, or IoT telemetry).
