Technical Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Business Analyst in Detroit, MI.

Overview:
A global organization is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support multiple Agile Scrum teams within a fast-paced product development environment. The team delivers enhancements and new product initiatives across a portfolio of customer-facing mobile and in-store applications.

This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in active delivery environments and enjoys contributing to both ongoing releases and new product development efforts. Candidates should be comfortable supporting globally distributed teams and working across diverse technology stacks.

Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with multiple cross-functional Agile Scrum teams
* Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and technical delivery leadership
* Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications
* Decompose high-level requirements into detailed user stories and development tickets
* Interpret and analyze technical documentation
* Communicate effectively with developers across multiple technology stacks
* Contribute to solution design documentation and technical artifacts
* Participate in whiteboarding sessions and structured problem-solving discussions
* Support both globally deployed products and new product development initiatives
* Proactively identify gaps and drive solutions with minimal oversight

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst (project management backgrounds alone are not sufficient)
* Strong ability to interpret technical documentation and communicate effectively with engineering teams
* Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments
* Demonstrated ability to break down complex requirements into implementable development tasks
* Strong collaboration skills across technical and product stakeholders
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Self-directed and proactive in driving initiatives forward

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in fast-paced or highly innovative environments
* Exposure to retail, restaurant, or other consumer-facing technology environments
* Experience supporting complex, multi-technology ecosystems
* Background in large-scale distributed product teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
