Role: Senior Product ManagerDescription:We are seeking a strategic and seasoned Senior Product Manager to lead our fintech product development initiatives,
with a specialized focus on data architecture and ETL orchestration. In this role, you will drive the product strategy,
oversee the lifecycle of complex financial data pipelines, and deliver innovative solutions that leverage high-quality, real-time data to meet our clients' evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Define and execute a strategic product roadmap for fintech solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, client needs, and market trends.
- Lead product discovery efforts, gather and analyze customer and stakeholder feedback, and translate them into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Own the product backlog and prioritize features based on business impact, client needs, and development resources.
- Lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives, to drive product development and team collaboration.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitor analysis, and opportunity assessments to inform product strategy and innovation.
- Partner with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive and customer-centric experiences for our fintech solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless development and integration of fintech solutions within existing systems and platforms.
- Track product performance through KPIs and metrics, continuously iterate on the product based on data-driven insights and user feedback.
- Act as a product ambassador both internally and externally, presenting product vision and progress to stakeholders, clients, and partners.
- Data Pipeline Strategy: Define the roadmap for fintech data integration, ensuring ETL processes are scalable, secure, and optimized for high-volume financial transactions.
- Requirement Translation: Translate complex financial reporting and compliance needs into technical data transformation logic, schemas, and mapping documents.
- Data Quality & Governance: Own the standards for data integrity and freshness across pipelines, ensuring fintech products rely on a "single source of truth."
- Cross-Functional Engineering: Partner closely with Data Engineers to prioritize the ingestion of diverse financial data sources (APIs, legacy banking cores, and webhooks).
Required Skills and Experience:- 6+ years of experience in product management or a similar role, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of fintech solutions, payment gateways, digital banking, or related financial technologies.
- Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of ETL/ELT patterns, data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery), and data orchestration tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow).
- Data Modeling: Ability to collaborate on entity relationship diagrams (ERDs) and define how financial data should be structured for both operational and analytical use.
- Advanced SQL: Expert-level SQL skills for data profiling, validation, and troubleshooting pipeline issues.
- Compliance & Security: Deep understanding of how ETL processes impact financial regulations (e.g., data residency, encryption at rest/transit, and SOC2).
- Proven experience in agile product development, requirements gathering, and roadmap creation.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive alignment and decision-making.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
- Proficient in product management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or relevant master's degree is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills:- Experience with cloud-based fintech solutions and their integration with diverse platforms.
- Knowledge of emerging fintech trends, such as AI-driven financial products, cryptocurrencies, and real-time payments.
- Strong familiarity with data analytics and A/B testing for product optimization.
