Job Title: Scrum Product Owner - Agentic AI Project
Location: Hyderabad, India

About the Role

Milestone Technologies is seeking a driven and experienced Scrum Product Owner to lead the product vision and delivery for an innovative Agentic AI initiative within our company to support our pharmaceutical industry partners. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who can interface effectively with cross-functional teams to champion the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions that enhance our drug discovery, development, and commercialization processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements specific to pharma and AI applications.
• Define, articulate, and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the Agentic AI project.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders-including data scientists, engineers, business leaders, and compliance teams-to translate requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring active participation and adherence to Agile best practices.
• Monitor progress and outcomes, adjust priorities based on feedback and evolving business needs, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Serve as the voice of the customer and internal stakeholders, advocating for their needs while balancing feasibility and innovation.
• Work closely with UX/UI teams to ensure product usability and user experience meet the needs of internal users and external partners.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and blockers in the product development lifecycle, ensuring successful project delivery on schedule and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
• 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role within Agile environments, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare sectors.
• Proven track record managing AI or machine learning products or projects, ideally with exposure to Agentic AI concepts and implementations.
• Strong understanding of Scrum framework and Agile methodologies. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
• Experience working in regulated industries with strong knowledge of compliance, validation, and quality assurance processes.
• High level of analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with pharmaceutical , Operations, Manufacturing and AI-driven digital transformation initiatives in pharma.
• Experience with cloud platforms and AI development tools.
• Knowledge of data privacy and security standards applicable to healthcare and pharma sectors.
