Description
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team. In this position, you will play a critical role in analyzing complex datasets, developing data pipelines, and delivering actionable insights to support research, development, and operational strategies. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with R& D teams and contribute to innovative geospatial applications that impact business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Analyze diverse datasets from research programs, field trials, and operational systems to generate business insights.
Collaborate with R& D teams to aggregate experimental results into statistically sound and geospatially relevant analyses.
Develop actionable insights to optimize manufacturing processes, improve product performance, and enhance sales strategies.
Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders to support decision-making and ensure proper implementation of technologies.
Build and optimize datasets using programming languages such as Python and R.
Participate in the development and maintenance of automated data pipelines and reproducible workflows.
Design semantic data layers to facilitate the translation of experimental data into business solutions.
Utilize tools like Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI to support data management and visualization.
Contribute to the strategic planning and creation of platforms that integrate data for field applications.
Work closely with research teams to understand and address data-related challenges.
Requirements
A minimum of 7 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or related fields.
Proficiency in Python, R programming, and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
Strong knowledge of relational databases and quantitative methods.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Familiarity with platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
Ability to analyze geospatial data and apply statistical methodologies.
Excellent communication skills to present complex findings to diverse audiences.
