Job Description:
A Senior DevOps Engineer plays a critical role in architecting, automating, and operating highly scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure. This role bridges development and operations by enabling rapid, reliable software delivery through robust CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and modern cloud-native practices.
They will lead the design and implementation of platform solutions that improve system reliability, performance, and developer productivity, while establishing and enforcing DevOps and DevSecOps best practices across the organization.
Required Skills:
1.Cloud Platforms (Must-Have)
Strong hands-on with:
Amazon Web Services (most common)
Microsoft Azure
Google Cloud Platform
Deep understanding of networking, IAM, storage, compute
& Automation
Expertise in:
Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Pipeline design, optimization, and troubleshooting
3.Containers & Orchestration
Advanced knowledge of:
Docker, Kubernetes
Experience with Helm, scaling, cluster management
4.Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Strong experience in:
Terraform
Alternatives: AWS CloudFormation, Ansible
Modular, reusable infrastructure design
5.Monitoring & Observability
Exposure to Tools like:
Prometheus + Grafana
Datadog
ELK Stack
Log aggregation, alerting, metrics analysis
6.Scripting & Programming
Strong in at least one:
Python
Bash
Go
Automation and tool building
7.Security & DevSecOps
Secrets management (Vault, KMS)
Container security, vulnerability scanning
