We are seeking an IT Change Management Coordinator to join our team. This role is central to administering the overall Change Management for the Project Book of Work, overseeing the planning, execution, and facilitation of a successful and compliant software deployment process. The position involves leveraging the Remedy ticketing system and requires a strong understanding of Change Management and Risk Management processes. The coordinator will work independently and with peers to manage cross-functional initiatives and support project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer the Change Management process for the Project Book of Work, ensuring successful and compliant software deployments.
- Oversee changes and projects within the organization, including cross-functional initiatives with technical teams.
- Work with peer Change Coordinators to eliminate duplication of effort and motivate development teams to deliver results.
- Proactively engage with stakeholders to assess readiness and minimize risks of non-compliance or negative impacts from changes.
- Perform administrative tasks, coordinate with stakeholders, update records, and maintain process documentation.
- Provide clear status updates to senior management and summarize technical changes and report details at the appropriate level.
- Assess and advise on solutions to improve existing processes.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A proven ability to effectively collaborate with others, make decisions to initiate action, and adapt to change. Ability to perform as a Project Manager and occasionally work nights and weekends as required to support change activities.
Technical Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary to communicate across the organization. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow an existing refined process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Over 3 years of Project or Change Management experience.
- Prior experience as a Change Coordinator is preferred.
- B.S. degree in Business Management, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
- Comprehensive understanding of project management, Change Management theory, and team dynamics.
- Experience with ITSM, BMC Remedy Ticketing System, JIRA, and project risk tools such as PPRT.
- Previous experience within the banking industry is highly recommended.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits
A pay rate of $60.00 to $64.54 per hour is offered for this position.
