Summary

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the design, development, and enhancement of .NET-based applications and services.
  • Act as the technical owner for assigned initiatives, accountable for delivery, quality, and timelines.
  • Work across a modern enterprise stack including .NET, messaging systems (MQ), Redis, MSSQL, and observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace).
  • Quickly ramp up on existing systems, architecture, and domain, and guide the team accordingly.
  • Drive technical design and architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Provide hands-on contributions to critical parts of the codebase while setting engineering standards.
  • Coordinate effectively with onsite and offshore engineers, ensuring alignment and execution.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early, and proactively drive resolution.
  • Lead troubleshooting of complex production issues and root cause analysis.
  • Mentor and guide engineers, elevating overall team performance and quality.

What You Know:

  • 8 12+ years of experience in .NET development (C#) in enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience in a technical leadership role, owning delivery of complex systems.
  • Strong expertise in distributed systems and microservices architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with MQ (messaging systems), Redis, MSSQL, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace or equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, system integrations, and backend architecture.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and deliver with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices.
  • Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience working in high-pressure, high-impact delivery environments.


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Compensation Band:

$130 - $140K per annum
