Title – Study Facilitation Support Executive

Location – Remote

Job Summary

We are looking for a Study Facilitation Support Executive to support in-person user studies and data collection activities involving consumer technology and development devices. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, hands-on experience conducting or supporting research sessions, and the ability to troubleshoot computers and consumer electronics.

Candidates with Apple/iOS/macOS experience and familiarity with Terminal, SSH, and command-line tools are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and moderate in-person user studies involving complex, detailed, and dynamic study protocols.
  • Ensure participants follow study procedures and accurately document protocol deviations, issues, and observations.
  • Provide a positive, professional, and high-energy experience for all study participants.
  • Collect system and quantitative data from test devices and equipment according to defined study protocols.
  • Validate the accuracy and fidelity of captured data and escalate discrepancies when identified.
  • Track study progress, participation metrics, and data collection activities; provide timely status updates.
  • Communicate daily study results, project status, risks, and issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain study devices and equipment used for data collection.
  • Set up and break down study rooms and session areas on a daily basis.
  • Oversee the study environment and coordinate maintenance or equipment needs as required.
  • Install software and configure development consumer electronics for study activities.
  • Use SSH, Terminal, and command-line tools to enable, configure, and troubleshoot systems.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of computers, mobile devices, and consumer electronics.
  • Manage participant correspondence, recruitment coordination, scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups.
  • Discuss data collection plans, issues, findings, and next steps with internal data consumers.
  • Proactively collaborate with data consumers to improve and streamline data collection processes.
  • Assist with basic data processing, analysis, and visualization activities.
  • Distribute surveys and collect, review, and organize participant feedback.
  • Support additional user study and data collection initiatives as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting or conducting in-person user research, usability studies, product testing, or data collection sessions.
  • Proficiency with iOS and macOS devices.
  • Comfortable using Terminal and command-line tools to execute scripts and perform basic system tasks.
  • Working knowledge of SSH and basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow complex study protocols accurately and consistently.
  • Experience troubleshooting computers, mobile devices, or consumer electronics.
  • Ability to interact professionally and confidently with study participants.
  • Strong documentation, tracking, and issue-reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
