Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Tester with strong expertise in functional and manual testing across Guidewire applications including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end testing of insurance workflows, validating business rules, and ensuring seamless integration across systems in an Agile delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform functional, system, integration, and regression testing of Guidewire applications
• Validate key insurance transactions such as:

o New Business

o Endorsements

o Renewals

o Cancellations

o Reinstatements

o FNOL (First Notice of Loss)

o Claims lifecycle

· Design, prepare, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data

· Validate Guidewire configurations, workflows, business rules, and UI functionality

· Log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA / ALM / TestRail

· Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners in Agile/Scrum teams

· Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

· Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

· 8–10 years of experience in QA / Manual Testing

· Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire (PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter)

· Solid understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

· Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, TestRail)

· Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills

Preferred / Nice to Have Skills

· Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright

· Knowledge of API testing using Postman

· Basic understanding of SQL for data validation

· Exposure to Guidewire Cloud / SaaS implementations
