Description: Salesforce Technical Lead
About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions. In this role, you'll provide technical leadership, guide engineering teams, and ensure solutions align with architectural best practices and business objectives. You'll combine deep Salesforce expertise with strong leadership and a passion for building high-quality, user-centric systems.

Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Development
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Lead end-to-end development across configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Enforce Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
Technical Leadership
  • Lead and mentor Salesforce developers, ensuring high-quality technical delivery.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide ongoing technical guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Partner with product managers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
Integrations & Customization
  • Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and Salesforce Connect.
  • Develop custom features using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and related technologies.
System Operations & Maintenance
  • Monitor system performance, security, and data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Manage deployment processes and version control using Git, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Provide clear communication on project status, risks, and technical considerations.
  • Deliver training, workshops, and enablement sessions for end-users and technical teams.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, configuration guides, and test plans.
  • Ensure compliance with Salesforce licensing, data privacy, and security standards.
Continuous Improvement
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance existing solutions.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and administration experience.
  • 2+ years in a technical lead or team leadership role.


Technical Skills
  • Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, LWC, JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Public Sector Cloud.
  • Experience with Salesforce clouds: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud.
  • Proficiency with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps.
  • Strong data modeling and solution design capabilities.


Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect
  • Experience in public sector implementations
  • Expertise in business solutioning and data modeling
