Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud AI Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of secure, scalable, and responsible AI solutions in a cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS cloud architecture, AI/ML technologies, enterprise application modernization, and Generative AI. This role requires close collaboration with technical teams and business stakeholders to architect innovative cloud-native solutions while ensuring security, compliance, and best practices.

Note: Candidates must reside in the Metro Atlanta area and be available to work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-scale cloud and AI solution architectures.

• Lead application modernization initiatives on AWS.

• Architect secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-native applications.

• Design and implement AI/ML solutions using public cloud and hybrid environments.

• Develop Generative AI, chatbot, and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions.

• Evaluate cloud architecture alternatives across IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud platforms.

• Recommend AI platforms and frameworks including AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google Vertex AI, and PyTorch.

• Ensure AI solutions align with responsible AI principles, ethics, bias mitigation, and governance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Mentor technical teams and provide architectural guidance.

• Support enterprise integration, cloud migration, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with application architecture and solution design.

• Minimum 5 years of enterprise full lifecycle architecture experience.

• 5+ years of hands-on application architecture, cloud implementation, and modernization.

• Strong experience architecting applications on AWS.

• Experience evaluating public, private, and hybrid cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS).

• 3+ years designing and implementing AI/ML solutions.

• Experience with Generative AI, chatbots, and LLM deployments.

• Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.

• Experience with AI platforms such as:

  • AWS SageMaker

  • Azure Machine Learning

  • Google Vertex AI

  • PyTorch

• Experience designing secure and compliant AI solutions.

• Knowledge of AI ethics, responsible AI, and bias mitigation frameworks.

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and software development lifecycle.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Certification Required).

• Additional Cloud or AI certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

• Experience with enterprise cloud and AI integrations.

• Experience with public sector or government environments.

• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as:

  • FedRAMP

  • FISMA

  • NIST AI RMF

  • NIST 800-53

• Experience supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
