Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to perform and oversee a wide range of clinical laboratory testing procedures while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with established laboratory standards. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of Medical Technologist experience, strong expertise across a variety of clinical laboratory tests, and demonstrated leadership ability to supervise and guide laboratory personnel. This role requires the ability to accurately analyse and interpret test results, maintain quality control, and support efficient day-to-day laboratory operations. Candidates must hold Medical Technologist (MT) certification through ASCP and possess prior supervisory experience in a laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform and oversee a broad range of clinical laboratory tests in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
2. Accurately analyse, interpret, and validate laboratory test results to ensure reliability and compliance with laboratory standards.
3. Monitor daily laboratory operations to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient processing of specimens and test reporting.
4. Provide leadership, supervision, and direction to laboratory personnel, ensuring productivity, quality performance, and adherence to safety protocols.
5. Support the training, guidance, and performance oversight of laboratory staff to maintain high operational and technical standards.
6. Ensure all laboratory testing activities are conducted in compliance with quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory guidelines.
7. Assist in maintaining laboratory documentation, test records, and operational reports as required.
8. Collaborate with Pathologists, physicians, and other clinical staff to address testing procedures, result interpretation, and technical matters.
9. Identify issues in testing processes and take appropriate action to resolve discrepancies or improve workflow efficiency.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory operations, testing accuracy, and staff effectiveness.

 Required Qualification:

1. 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist
2. 5+ years of experience in variety of Clinical Laboratory Test
3. Medical Technologist (MT) certification required
4. Proven ability to supervise and Lead laboratory personnel
5. Ability to accurately interpret LAB test results and evaluate findings against established standards
6. Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience in a laboratory setting and LAB Testing.
