Core Responsibilities
Participate and help coordination of complex technical project initiatives across security, IT operations, and production support domains.
Facilitate project meetings (status, planning, risk reviews) in place of the project lead when needed
Partner with project managers, technical leads, and stakeholders to drive execution and alignment
Gather, document, and maintain detailed technical requirements
Track project progress, actively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and drive resolution
Collect, consolidate, and report status across multiple initiatives with clear, concise communication
Develop and maintain project artifacts including presentations, timelines, and documentation
Ensure adherence to governance, standards, and project delivery methodologies
Skills and Competencies
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Excellent facilitation skills, able to lead discussions and drive decisions across technical and business teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language
Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability
Technical Knowledge
Solid understanding of IT environments, including:
Security concepts and controls
IT operations and infrastructure
Change management
Production support processes and incident management
Ability to engage in technical discussions and understand system architecture at a high level
Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
Experience working with tools for project tracking and documentation (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, ServiceNow)
Experience Requirements
Proven experience supporting complex, cross-functional technical projects
Demonstrated ability to operate in a lead or proxy leadership role for meetings and project coordination
Experience working closely with engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams
Background in application development environments is preferred, but not required to be hands-on for this role
Experience in healthcare or regulated environments is a plus
Reporting and Governance
Provide consistent and structured status reporting, including:
Overall health of initiatives
Key milestones and deliverables
Risks, issues, and mitigation plans
Support leadership with data-driven insights to inform decision-making
Ensure transparency and accountability across all project stakeholders
