Technical Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager in Chicago, IL. This role will sit in the Genai COE and be focused on delivering genai/agentic use cases with various LOBs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Genai/Agentic engineering projects within an Agile environment, coupled with a consultative approach and technical mindset.

Responsibilities:
* Project Leadership: Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards; Understanding of value creation/roi for use cases
* Risk Mitigation: Implement strategies to mitigate risks and achieve desired business outcomes
* Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication with program/project managers and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency
* Team Coordination: Manage and coordinate team members, including other project managers, business and technology resources, consultants, contractors, and vendors
* Technical Guidance: Provide consultative guidance with a strong technical mindset, focusing on engineering and application development in an Agile environment

REQUIREMENTS:
* Able to communicate with Genai Solution Architects and support the E2E solutioning aspect for use cases
* Proven experience in managing engineering projects, particularly in Agile environments, with a focus on application development
* Strong technical background with the ability to provide consultative guidance
* Experience in technical program management, project delivery, and liaising with design and engineering teams
* Familiarity with Generative AI, Agentic Solutions, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and related technologies
* Excellent skills in stakeholder management, risk management, and communication
* Strong understanding and utilization of Jira

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
