Job Role: Senior Business Analyst (Safety & Security technology)
Job Location: Washington, DC (Remote with Quarterly Travel required for PI Planning at D.C. or Wilmington, DE)

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support multiple IT and technology initiatives within a Safety & Security technology environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to gather and document requirements, analyze business processes, and support system implementation initiatives.
The candidate should have strong business analysis, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with tools such as Visio and Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements.
- Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams.
- Develop process flows, workflow diagrams, and supporting project documentation.
- Support system implementation, enhancement, and replacement initiatives.
- Assist with requirements validation, testing coordination, and business readiness activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to support project delivery.
- Manage competing priorities across multiple ongoing technology projects.
- Communicate project requirements, issues, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level experience as a Business Analyst supporting IT or technology-related projects.
- Strong expertise in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation.
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Ability to independently manage business analysis activities across multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Visio for process flows, workflow diagrams, and system documentation.
- Exposure to Power BI for dashboards, reporting, and data visualization.
- Experience supporting enterprise application implementations, system replacements, or enhancements.
- Familiarity with Safety & Security technology, physical security systems, safety operations, or related enterprise technology initiatives.
