Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle EBS Financials Functional Consultant with expertise in Oracle EBS Accounts Receivable (AR), Projects, Billing, Costing, and Public Sector Financials to support a U.S. Department of Defense client. This is a highly visible, client-facing role responsible for leading Oracle EBS Financials implementation activities, business process improvements, system configuration, testing, and production deployments.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite Financials in complex enterprise environments, preferably supporting the U.S. Air Force, Department of Defense (DoD), or other Federal agencies.
Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle EBS Financials functional activities for Accounts Receivable (AR), Projects, Billing, Costing, and Public Sector Accounting.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle EBS functional solutions.
- Configure Oracle EBS Financials modules to support business processes.
- Lead Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), fit/gap analysis, business process validation, and user acceptance activities.
- Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical development teams.
- Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and production deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform issue triage, and support defect resolution.
- Collaborate with functional, technical, security, data conversion, and integration teams.
- Support data migration, data validation, end-user training, and production cutover activities.
- Assist with release planning, change management, and production support.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS) Financials functional experience.
- Strong experience with Oracle EBS Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Experience with Oracle Projects, Project Billing, Project Costing, and Public Sector Financials.
- Hands-on Oracle EBS configuration experience.
- Experience leading fit/gap analysis and Conference Room Pilots (CRPs).
- Experience with Oracle EBS testing, defect management, issue triage, and release management.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Financials business processes.
- Experience working directly with business users and executive stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting the U.S. Air Force, Department of Defense (DoD), or Federal Government.
- Experience with Oracle EBS R12.
- Experience supporting ERP modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS integrations, security, and data conversion.
- Experience supporting Agile and Scrum delivery teams.
- Active DoD Security Clearance is a plus.
