Role: Backend .Net Developer
Location: Fremont, CA 5 days onsite per week Mon to Fri
Duration: 6 months-1 year Contract with potential conversion/extension
Client’s Document Platform team is seeking for Engineer to help build and maintain critical backend services that power client’s customer‑facing document experiences. This role focuses heavily on backend fundamentals, microservices, and production ownership in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment.
Fundamentals and real‑world backend experience matter more than perfect language alignment. Engineers who understand APIs, microservices, and production systems ramp quickly.
This role is ideal for a strong mid‑level backend engineer who thrives in a high‑ownership environment, values clean engineering fundamentals, and is comfortable owning production‑grade systems. Perfect language alignment is less important than proven backend depth, problem‑solving ability, and real‑world experience.
Required Qualifications
Must‑Have Technical Skills :
- Backend Language
- C# / .NET - Required
- Backend Architecture & APIs
- Hands‑on experience with microservices
- Experience with distributed systems
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and principles
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines
- Databases & Data
- MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
- Intermediate SQL skills
- Ability to write and understand complex queries
- Basic query tuning and troubleshooting
- Core Engineering Fundamentals (Very Important)
- Strong Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, production‑ready code
- Familiarity with design patterns (e.g., decorator and common OOP patterns)
- Sound engineering judgment and first‑principles thinking
