Role: Java Architect – Automated Testing Framework (ATF)

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Architect – Automated Testing Framework (ATF) to drive the architecture, development, modernization, and technical strategy of an enterprise automation platform.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with expert-level Java, Spring Boot, REST API, SQL, distributed systems, and full-stack development expertise using React and Node.js. The role will enable enterprise-wide test automation across mission-critical financial applications and data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Architecture & technical leadership
- Define and own the ATF platform architecture and long-term technical roadmap.
- Lead architecture and design reviews.
- Establish engineering and architecture standards.
- Drive cloud-native and microservices modernization.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and adoption strategies.
2. Platform engineering
- Design and develop scalable automation platform services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Architect RESTful APIs and service integrations.
- Lead development of reusable automation components, agents, plugins, and framework utilities.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, observability, and fault tolerance.
- 3. Full-stack development
- Architect and oversee modern web applications using:
- React / React.js
- Node.js
- TypeScript / JavaScript
- HTML5 / CSS3
- Build intuitive interfaces for automation administration, reporting, monitoring, and analytics.
4. Database & data architecture
- Design and optimize enterprise-scale SQL solutions.
- Develop data models for automation execution, reporting, auditability, and analytics.
- Perform query tuning and database performance optimization.
- Support SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle environments.
5. Engineering excellence
- Establish coding standards and architecture governance.
- Drive DevOps, CI/CD, and automated quality controls.
- Lead code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical mentoring.
- Support production readiness, release governance, and operational excellence.
6. Stakeholder management
- Partner with technology leaders, product owners, quality engineering teams, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions.
- Communicate architecture strategy and technical direction to executive leadership.
