Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Architect – Automated Testing Framework (ATF) to drive the architecture, development, modernization, and technical strategy of an enterprise automation platform.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with expert-level Java, Spring Boot, REST API, SQL, distributed systems, and full-stack development expertise using React and Node.js. The role will enable enterprise-wide test automation across mission-critical financial applications and data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architecture & technical leadership

• Define and own the ATF platform architecture and long-term technical roadmap.
• Lead architecture and design reviews.
• Establish engineering and architecture standards.
• Drive cloud-native and microservices modernization.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and adoption strategies.

2. Platform engineering

• Design and develop scalable automation platform services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Architect RESTful APIs and service integrations.
• Lead development of reusable automation components, agents, plugins, and framework utilities.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, observability, and fault tolerance.
• 3. Full-stack development
• Architect and oversee modern web applications using:
• React / React.js
• Node.js
• TypeScript / JavaScript
• HTML5 / CSS3
• Build intuitive interfaces for automation administration, reporting, monitoring, and analytics.

4. Database & data architecture

• Design and optimize enterprise-scale SQL solutions.
• Develop data models for automation execution, reporting, auditability, and analytics.
• Perform query tuning and database performance optimization.
• Support SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle environments.

5. Engineering excellence

• Establish coding standards and architecture governance.
• Drive DevOps, CI/CD, and automated quality controls.
• Lead code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical mentoring.
• Support production readiness, release governance, and operational excellence.

6. Stakeholder management

• Partner with technology leaders, product owners, quality engineering teams, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
• Translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions.
• Communicate architecture strategy and technical direction to executive leadership.
