Title: Salesforce Architect
Location: 2045 Morse Rd., Bldg. I-2, Columbus, OH 43229 (On-Site role, with hybrid model)

Position Overview

The Client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to lead and manage all aspects of the Salesforce (SFDC) platform including architecture, configuration, customization, development, integrations, reporting, and production support.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce Lightning (Aura), Apex programming, Force.com APIs, third-party integrations, and Salesforce best practices. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, technical leadership, and mentoring capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Development

  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy scalable solutions on the Force.com platform
  • Develop using Lightning Aura Components, Apex, Visualforce, and APIs
  • Implement third-party integrations and manage API-based integrations
  • Design and maintain workflows, Process Builder, and Flow automation
  • Develop and manage Salesforce Communities (Experience Cloud)

Reporting & Data

  • Build advanced reports and dashboards
  • Design reporting solutions using Conga
  • Create complex macro-driven executive reports
  • Import/export data using Data Loader
  • Ensure performance optimization as data volume increases

Project & Release Management

  • Participate in full SDLC (requirements design testing deployment support)
  • Manage sandbox deployments and release management best practices
  • Create test plans and manage UAT
  • Document system configurations and training guides

Integration & Support

  • Monitor backend system integration logs
  • Troubleshoot third-party applications and partner integrations
  • Log, analyze, and resolve production issues
  • Support system migrations into Salesforce

Leadership & Communication

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Communicate system changes proactively
  • Mentor and train State development staff
  • Recommend improvements for operational efficiency
