Job Title: Administrative Assistant, Studio Operations

Location: New York, NY 10003
Client: Major Entertainment Company

Duration: 4 months contract

Rate: $40/hr on w2

 

Role Overview:
The Administrative Assistant, Studio Operations supports the Studio Operations team by ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of studio facilities and administrative processes. This role provides operational support across facilities, client services, studio administration, and stage operations while helping deliver an exceptional experience for productions and on-site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and track facility maintenance requests and liaise with the landlord on minor improvements.
  • Manage catering arrangements and logistics for on-site teams, guests, and events.
  • Maintain and update operational documentation, SOPs, manuals, and basic reporting/tracking logs.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for mailroom activities, production onboarding/offboarding, studio tours, and site visits.
  • Assist with daily operational tasks to ensure efficient studio operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in administrative, operations, workplace, or facilities support (studio or production experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace; familiarity with facility ticketing and visitor management systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a customer-service mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a studio or production environment.
  • Knowledge of facility ticketing systems and visitor/logistics management tools.
