Schedule: In-office Tuesday-Thursday,
8:00am-4:00pm (no overtime expected)
Team Size: 4 engineers + 1 external lead
About the TeamThis team operates
within a
highly collaborative, scaled agileenvironment where engineers are actively involved in both
designing solutions and building them. Work is
not siloed-team members collaborate closely, openly communicate, and
proactively pick up work from the board.
The team plans in
10-week roadmaps and holds
biweekly planning and refinement sessions.
Engineers are expected to take ownership by identifying available work,
delivering it, and holding high standards for quality.

Key Projects & Technical FocusWork may rotate
between initiatives, but current strategic priorities include the
Digital Associate Experience, which powers
daily workflows for bank associates.
Key goals include:
- Understanding and improving how banking associates work
- Streamlining workflows that currently span 25+ systems into a unified "single pane of glass" experience
- Supporting lending and leasing use cases
- Enhancing Customer 360 capabilities-providing a holistic view of customer relationships, loans, and leases
This work has a
broad organizational impact and spans multiple
agile teams.
Role OverviewThis role is best suited for a
engineer with 6+ years of strong full-stack experience who can operate at a lead level from a technical standpoint. While people management responsibilities sit with full-time staff, this role is expected to:
- Influence architecture and technical decisions
- Present ideas to the team
- Recommend improvements to make systems more maintainable
- Bring new ideas and perspectives to evolving frameworks and platforms
Required Skills & ExperienceTop Must-Haves:- React
- TypeScript
- Node.js
- Need database experience
- Infrastructure knowledge with AWS and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- React with Material UI (or comparable component frameworks)
Core Technical Requirements:- Strong full-stack experience (HTML, CSS, Node.js)
- Docker and Kubernetes
- AWS tools and services
- Windows PowerShell
- Database experience
- Bachelor's degree required
Note: Candidates who are weaker in Material UI
may still be considered if they are strong in other areas-especially Node.js.
Nice-to-Haves- AWS certifications
- Prior experience working in banking or financial services

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $90.00/hr.
