Job SummaryThe Manufacturing/Test Technician supports wafer calibration and testing activities in a production environment. This role involves handling and inspecting wafers, executing test applications, analyzing data, and collaborating closely with Engineering to resolve manufacturing issues. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with small components, and has basic computer and soldering skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with loading and handling wafers for calibration processes
- Perform wafer testing in accordance with established work instructions
- Execute PC-based test applications to collect and analyze wafer data
- Inspect wafers and small components using a microscope
- Document test results and observations accurately
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing (MFG) issues
- Follow all safety, quality, and process control procedures
Required Skills & Experience- Experience inspecting small components or parts under a microscope
- Ability to work with and handle small hand tools and measurement devices (e.g., DVM)
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Knowledge of soldering techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructions
Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience in a manufacturing, semiconductor, or test environment
- Familiarity with wafer processing or calibration workflows
