Position: Manufacturing Assoc Test Eng 2
Location: 100% on-site in Milpitas, CA
Estimated Duration: The client approximates that this project may last up to 12+ months. However, there is no guarantee of employment for any length of time.
Pay Rate Range: $37-$39/hr. (paid weekly on W2)
Shift: 2nd shift hours - 4 p.m. to 12:30am - 3:30 a.m (end time based on OT needed)
Project Description: Looking for highly motivated individual who has Technical School with BSEE and can work independently with limited support from engineering and management.
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like: - Build and test cameras and printed circuit assemblies in production area.
- Update documentation when needed
- Work with engineer to bring new products to manufacturing
- Testing PCBs from suppliers (voltage tests, functional/basic board testing)
- Applying FPGA programming
- Light electronic assembly & mechanical enclosure work
- Integrating 2-3 boards into larger assemblies
- Troubleshooting diagnostic issues --no board-level repair done in-house
Requirements: - Education requirement: BSEE only will not consider any other degrees
- Broad technical understanding of printed circuit boards
- Be able to troubleshoot down to component level
- Strong ability to update documents for a repeatable Manufacturing Process
- Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills, and work in a collaborative style
- Good technical skills and proven engineering problem solving ability
- Must be willing to work overtime, day or night shift and weekends
- Strong understanding of electronic circuitry
- Experience with:Component-level diagnostics, Lipol/component testing, PCB test procedures (voltage, functional test)
- Hands-on electronics troubleshooting
